So a volcano in Iceland has erupted. Nothing serious from reports I’ve heard, but airports all over Europe are shutting down.
Seems the volcanic ash is dangerous to planes and can cause engines to fail and what not.
Wonder if we’ll wake up tomorrow with ash on our cars. That happened last time. Red ash too!

Actually, I found it yesterday and tried to test post with it, but it kept crashing on me whenever I hit publish. But today they’ve published an update to the bug it seems was going on, so all good!

I run another site off the same hosting as my blog here, actually I run a few different things but this one in particular is for a gaming community. Or, it was, before it sorta died out – the site, not the game.
The site also had an IRC webchat built in, forums, etc. It hasn’t been used in about 2 years, but someone has shown interest in taking it up again, including the IRC channel, so I took a look at the forums out of boredom, knowing they hadn’t been posted on in forever.
Oh boy, was I ever wrong!

Ouch!
Found this out last night at home, but I forgot where I actually had the site hosted so couldn’t phpMyAdmin into it. Spent 2 hours trying to reduce some damage, but got hundreds of pages on every search I ran i.e. members with 0 posts, members with posts over
5,000 (seriously, some random spammer had 40k posts on the forums, 40K!!! /boggle), etc.
So got into work this morning and figured out how I have the hosting with, typical that I wouldn’t think it’d actually be the hosting company I paid for for my own stuff, course not!
Got the shit cleared out though this morn, but OMG. – OUCH!

Oh yeah, no wonder my bandwidth has been so up lately. And there was I thinking people were actually reading my blog! When I posted something to it anyway 
ok so been too lazy to write this – but what has gone on since last time I updated the ole blog.
I was diagnosed with inflamed arteries in my head after near 6 weeks of doctors scratching their heads, and given a course of steroids for it. Ahhhhhnold!!!! Anyhoo they worked, thank god, and the head is all sorted now.
My cousin, 23, was rushed to hospital after turning yellow, for real. Severe liver damage, at 23. She has to stay off alcohol for a year. The docs kinda came off as accusing her as being a complete alco, but after more tests they found her gallbladder had burst and was destroying her liver. Seriously, ouch. She had keyhole surgery and was on tons of drugs for cleaning out her system etc…Then ended back in hospital a couple of weeks later with stomach pains and they found out she’s 14 weeks pregnant. They did all that surgery and gave her all those drugs and ultra sounds without noticing she was pregnant?! Major drama.
My aunt keeps butchering Beyonce’s Single Ladies song. Instead of singing “All the single ladies” she’s singing “all the boys and girls.” No matter how many times we correct her…not exactly news but mega annoying.
I turned 30. Oh yes I did. I destroyed my house by removing all the furniture and decorating the f outta it as a casino. It was so cool, and it was also fancy dress

I had a surprise party thrown by my friends the night before my actual birthday. Cocktails galore, and I mean galore, I’m still getting dodgy in the tummy if I see alcohol. I do remember getting one of my brother’s friends to strip down to his boxers though 
My ex-fiance who you can read about somewhere in the history there about 2 months ago, he is doing fantastically. The new drug he is on is doing wonders. He’s back full time working, working out, going out etc. Great news.
My brother has been fishing for days on end over the last 2 months and hasn’t caught a single fish.
Another cousin of mine is getting married. *grumble* Everyone is getting married or having babies, what’s with that?!
The rabbit went to Texas on hols and when he came back he had swine flu! If anyone in the world was going to get it, it’d be him, way to go rabbit :p
I’ve read about 40 books, part of the reason I haven’t been here to update. So engrossed!

Are creepy. Yesterday I was visiting my grandfather in the hospital and I was the first one there when visiting hours were started. He’s in a bed in a room with 2 other old men.
I sat down at his bed side, between him and another old guy. We were talking away when the other guy offers my grandfather a sweet and then turns to me and says: “Want a sweetie little girl?”…..bwhahahahaha.
It was totally innocent but sheesh hehe
Blasted United lost to Barce last night, but the better team won. Grats Barce!

My cousin has a NDS that he has a gamecardthingy for where he can download games. The only thing is that he doesn’t have a PC, so he gets me to do this. Considering I got him the gamecardthingy I knew I’d have to download the games etc for him.
So last weekend he asked me to get him some random puzzle game. Gave me his card, and later that evening I downloaded the game for him and dropped it off to his house.
Grand, no probs.
This past Saturday, at my grandmothers, my aunt asked me about the game. Asking me why, when he loaded the game, did it burst out with Rick Astley’s – Never Gunna Give You Up?
Unintentionally, I just rickrolled my cousin and his fam.

The 2nd book in the Twilight saga, I read this last night, I mean all of it. Was glued to the thing. Can’t wait ’til they release the movie of this. I’ll bawl like a baby, if you’ve read the book you’ll know why
On a work related note, unibrow is out on site today and just called asking for the rabbit to explain to him what does “ruled feint” mean on notebooks and such. Very weird guy.
That brought on a moment of “is he fucking high?” looks around the place when I told the rabbit what unibrow wanted.
I’m in a real mellow mood at the mo’, in regards music anyway…slow classic rock like Bling Melon – No Rain kinda dealy…some Eagles etc…
