Ok, so now we’re all on the same page – today we had round 2. Yeah, I know, weeks later, but still.
Tool rang yesterday looking to talk to one of the guys about broadband setup, thankfully enough I stay away from this area as it’s troublesome, but none of the guys were in the office yesterday, just me, so I took the details (IP etc) and said I’d get one of them to call him in the morning (today).
This morning he calls around 11am, the rabbit was the only other one in the office, well sorta – he had to go home to pick up something so he wasn’t *in* the office at the time, but would be for the day. Told the tool that he’d call him back when he got in – no problem. Tool happy with this.
Left a note on the rabbit’s desk with the IP info etc., and a note saying to call – my job done.
The rabbit was mega busy today – it’s actually been a crazy busy week at work for all of us, I’m exhausted and it’s only 10PM – so he had a list of stuff to get through and hadn’t gotten time to call the tool back yet.
Tool calls about 3:30pm or so, and the rabbit is on the phone, so again I say – he’ll call you back. I told the rabbit when he got off the phone – my job done, again.
An hour goes by and we get a call from the boss, asking what was going on because the tool had been onto him bitching. Complaining is the wrong word to use when talking about the tool, ’cause all he is is a little bitch anyway. Yeah, ok I’m probably still a *tad* pissed at what happened with him before, but with good right! Read on friends.
The rabbit hangs up after talking with the boss and calls the tool. All I heard, and I knew from the *second* I heard the rabbit have to repeat himself what was going on, is below…
This is a bit paraphrased, but you’ll get the idea.
Rabbit: Tool, hi, sorry I didn’t get to call you back – I thought you were going to call me when you got to the customer.
Tool: You mean beib gave you the wrong information?
Rabbit: No, I misunderstood what was going on
Tool: So beib didn’t tell you the right info?
Rabbit: No, she told me right but I misunderstood.
Tool: You’re telling me you don’t understand English now?
Rabbit: *pause*
Tool: I don’t want to talk to you anymore
*hangs up*
OK SEE THAT? HANGS UP!
What happened last time? Oh yeah, he bitched at me for hanging up on him, when I didn’t even do that! And blaming me for what was going on, sheesh, I was *fuming*.
So I told the rabbit to not answer the phone if he calls, and I wasn’t going to either – thank you caller ID. He rang twice and we didn’t answer. Now, I wasn’t going to ignore him outright, just not answering until we spoke with our boss over this.
When we got ahold of our boss, about 30 mins later, we filled him in and I told him to make sure to make an issue with the tool over this because it’s the exact thing he complained me for, and he blamed me originally for this happening. Tool.
So the boss is handling it, with special note from me on double standards. Think he said he had a meeting with him on Monday anyway, so be interesting to see what happens.
Not only that, but later the boss calls me asking about some change to the multisite system the tool has. He wants to reverse it so things go in opposite directions. The tool *specifically* told me this would not be needed or wanted when we set all these systems up in the beginning, now it’s a big change to do it the way he wants. Talking 2 hours a machine, sigh.
And tomorrow’s Friday, bet he’ll want as many of them as possible done tomorrow.
Oh, and no sign of the iPhone being out tomorrow here, so may not have it this week
I am so ready for this week to be over.
