I have a friend who think it’s ok to ignore calls and texts for weeks at a time, not even days, although recently it’s days. She lives on the other side of the country and I’m well used to her now it doesn’t bother me.

Anyway, she was home Friday night which has always meant we’d hang out Saturday night. Sent her a text Saturday morning – she didn’t call or text me – but no reply. Today’s Thursday and I hadn’t thought about her much since I’m so used to her not returning calls etc, just surprised since she was home. Least it didn’t mean I had to listen to her ramble on about nothing interesting for hours and hours.

So today she emails me, she doesn’t return my calls/text because she has no credit on her phone to do so, she can only send texts etc to other people because the network she’s on gives her that free. Me being on another network means it charges her and even though she’s *very* high up in banking, can’t afford even 5euro to text me back, or email me sooner, or leave a message on my facebook, or anything, apparantly. Poor woman must be wasting away from starvation.

Her exact words were:

still have no credit, getting paid on the 23rd….can only talk to my
087 friends :-(

hehe, awesome.

I’m tied to a contract with my iPhone on my network, but I’ve also been that same network since the year dot so sure, let me go change my network just to talk to you. I’d nearly be tempted to (wouldn’t really entertain the idea) just to see what her excuse would be next time. There’s always a next time! I’ll let her keep her excuse.

Saves having to listen to her anyway.

So my brother broke up with his girlfriend and has been afraid to tell me, doesn’t know that I know. She’d become a good friend of mine so that’s sucky, she had told me herself but it’s upto Steve to tell us when he’s ready so have been pretending nothing. He’s been mega nice to me ’cause he knows how friendly we had gotten and I don’t think he wants to upset me, like *mega* nice. Silly man forgets family first!

Least it saves my bill, she was *nuts* on texts. I have 200 texts a month with my plan and she’d have me using them up in a matter of days!

Unibrow is still unibrow. Even more so. Hes constantly provoking the rabbit though, which is funny. That doesn’t work on me and he knows it but doesn’t stop him trying the odd time anyway.

The weather has taken a good turn this week, which is awesome. Sunny and warm!
Need my sunglasses indoors, woo~

My cousin has a NDS that he has a gamecardthingy for where he can download games. The only thing is that he doesn’t have a PC, so he gets me to do this. Considering I got him the gamecardthingy I knew I’d have to download the games etc for him.

So last weekend he asked me to get him some random puzzle game. Gave me his card, and later that evening I downloaded the game for him and dropped it off to his house.

Grand, no probs.

This past Saturday, at my grandmothers, my aunt asked me about the game. Asking me why, when he loaded the game, did it burst out with Rick Astley’s – Never Gunna Give You Up?

Unintentionally, I just rickrolled my cousin and his fam.

Oops.

The 2nd book in the Twilight saga, I read this last night, I mean all of it. Was glued to the thing. Can’t wait ’til they release the movie of this. I’ll bawl like a baby, if you’ve read the book you’ll know why ;)

On a work related note, unibrow is out on site today and just called asking for the rabbit to explain to him what does “ruled feint” mean on notebooks and such. Very weird guy.

That brought on a moment of “is he fucking high?” looks around the place when I told the rabbit what unibrow wanted.

I’m in a real mellow mood at the mo’, in regards music anyway…slow classic rock like Bling Melon – No Rain kinda dealy…some Eagles etc…

So I have been waiting for this movie to come out on DVD as I didn’t get to see it in the cinema, and was semi-interested in seeing it. So when shopping this weekend I found the book for only 6 euro so I bought it to read it, usually the books have more in them than the movie and it’d be nice to have read the book before seeing the movie.

So on Sunday I had the house to myself and after watching Manchester United win the Carling Cup (yay!), I didn’t feel like doing much so settled down with the book to check it out. I was riveted. I couldn’t put it down, and I mean seriously. I read it from start to finish, ended up going to bed at 5AM but it was worth it hehe. Awesome book.

Now I have to get the others in the series, so sent my mother off today to get the next book, and plan to settle down to that tonight, not ’til 5AM mind you :)

If you haven’t read the book, and have or haven’t seen the movie, definitely get the book and read it!
